La mejor / Greatest

Bien, pues anoche fuimos a un "House Gig", que es una presentación en un ambiente íntimo, con pocas personas, en la sala de una casa. No conocía nadita de la música de quien iba a presentar, me dijeron "se llama Alistair Griffin". Escuché un par de canciones en youtube los días anteriores, pero en sí la noche sería una sorpresa... ¡y que buena sorpresa!, comenzó cantando esta canción y decidí poner atención a la letra. Al final de la canción me preguntó directamente ¿qué opinas? le contesté que me había gustado mucho y que podría escucharla todos los días al despertar, (especialmente ahora que este asunto del doctorado se me está acumulando y el reto se ha vuelto aún más grande). Quizá pensó que estaba bromeando, pero es verdad. Me caerá bien escuchar más seguido que "Soy la mejor."  Aquí al final les dejo un enlace para que escuchen la canción. So, last night we went to a "House Gig ", a music performance in an intimate setting, with few people in the living room of a house. I did not know a thing about the music that was going to be played, I was told "his name is Alistair Griffin". I played a couple of his songs from youtube a few days before, that was about it, so the night was going to be a surprise ...and what a nice surprise! First song they played I paid close attention to the lyrics. At the end of the song he asked me directly "what do you think?" I replied I had liked it a lot and I could listen to that song every morning, (particularly now with the big challenge this PhD is representing to me). Perhaps he thought I was joking but I really mean it. I could do with more "I am the greatest." Here's a link to his song. Greatest, by Alistair Griffin
